Tetrahedron Assembly

Anybody willing to take a look at those “puzzle” pieces we’ve been gathering? We’re probably going to have to figure out a way to assemble them to get this key, like we had to for the spell last time.

I’ll give it a try. No promise it’ll be any good or even look like it’s supposed to lol

I’ll post pictures when I’m done

I have a fragment 5 and 6 already printed out, so I can keep working on them. Did we ever get a posting with the 7th Fragment in printable format?

edit: Or maybe I misunderstand what you mean by ‘printable’

I have already assembled them, tell me if you want me to try anything with them.

There have just been some posts with the puzzle pieces in JPEG format, with no background. Just makes it easier to print out and what not

So if (and I stress if) this is like the first key, those might combine into 1 final shape.

What do we think. Maybe the highlighted pieces are the outer faces of the final construction? I’ll admit I can’t really wrap my head around it without the pieces. I’ll try to print them at some point.

I was going to say, this is likely going to be figuring out the specific way these fit together, so the more people that have the pieces printed, the better

@Endri Would you be able to post something similar to what you did in this post but for Fragment 7? I can compile the other posts together for the other fragments and then anyone can print them out if they want

I don’t know if it is possible to have only the highlighted bits on the outside, I was actually thinking the contrary. But now that you mention it, some of the hilighted animals are repeated in other pieces, so maybe they also have to be on the outside.
The problem is that we are still missing at least two more pieces, and if this is a replica of the original “Translation” there might still be two more, since Lauren referred to 10 pieces total.

Holy hell…

I just got caught up with everything. That was… disturbing, to say the least. I’m scarcely available today, unfortunately, but at least I’ll have a bit to enjoy a good think about the state of things.

Should you guys need an extra hand, let me know. Good luck!

Yeah, I didn’t really see the point to starting to try this until we had all 10 pieces myself, but hey, never know what might help.

Want me to move them to a new topic for puzzle assembly? Can do…

Here we go. I put it under Fragment Eight, but maybe Exploration is more apropos? Will move again…

I more meant a picture of the puzzle pieces without the background. Similar to the one in the link I sent you. But good thinking with making this it’s own topic. Will probably help if there are any Lauren updates in the future

Ah, got it, okay… on it.

@Endri You are the BEST!!!

What if we are missing information from the previous three fragments

Bear with me for a second, but remember in the first 4 fragments, we got those little scraps of paper in addition to the fragment scraps. And the assessment would have been next to impossible if we didn’t find those. What if we are missing something like that?

It’s possible we’re missing pieces. I’m not sure how well hidden they are. I felt like most of the ones from the first key were pretty obvious. King Rabbit literally threw a couple of them at us very blatantly, and the devoted’s extra pieces required small leaps of trial and error.

So far I haven’t seen anything extra hidden…but then I guess that’s the point of hiding them.

Maybe that’s what we’re supposed to do with those (expletive deleted) dots from the journal?

Maybe the highlighted bits indicate the points of connection with the other pieces, particularly if those animals are on other pieces too.
