Inspired by The Guilds - General

I´m not quite sure where to put this. I wanted to create something more general about the guilds starting with Gossmere … I would like to make similar ones for the other guilds but I cant find the link to the guild descriptions… help? ;)

I thought about plants, growing things and hands as good symbols for gossmere - because its about unity and the connection of all things… Fire as a symbol of power and the ending and new beginning of thing - so the tree is some kind of phoenix-tree-of-life…^^ Im unsure if this makes sense but I like it ;)

Wow. This is beautiful. I love it. To find the guild descriptions you just need to look on the maqic.guide site and then put the Guild name after it, like this: http://magiq.guide/weatherwatch/

Yeah so uhm… late night aesthetics.

I’m really interested in the concept of the common drum… any wisdom @Eaves ?

I have a more cartoony, vibrant, and simplistic art style than Crytter, (as I’m sure you can tell from this and my profile picture which I also made) but I put just as much spirit (and love :heart: ) into mine! I’m a Thornmouth, and for me, the concept of the Mindflame really means a lot. A burning, growing desire to know about the world. But here it is, my artwork (that is not very good, me thinks):

The meaning of the flower is that… You see, I think that knowledge starts from things very small, similar to something such as a seed. That overtime you gain more of it, and you utilize the things already known to you to discover the things unknown, the things beyond. As you do this, the roots, the foundation of what you know, gets stronger, it gets deeper. I depicted the flower in half bloom because there is always more things to know, more things to discover, more things to see, and that perhaps knowledge is infinite, that we may never know all things that there is to know in the world. Sorry to get all philosophical on you guys ^^;
Also, to me the color blue has always symbolized knowledge, intelligence, and discovery. Are any of you guys like that? Where colors mean something to you? Like a vibrant red means something totally different than a yellow. Y’know? Anyways, hope you all enjoy the drawing! No sources cause it was all done by hand (but with the use of a drawing application I use, its really complicated, no one seems to understand how it works when I show it to them!)

I don’t know if this counts, but i made a study playlist a while ago based off this whole thing (it’s actually been my link in my profile for a while)

edit: tbh i could probably make specific ones for each of the guilds too, they’d probably end up on my 8tracks rather than spotify. Thoughts?

I made a little aesthetic for Balimora :open_mouth:
It’s not really much, but, I like it. It took a while :slight_smile:

I always thought about this as the power/vibe/whatever that connects every being with a heartbeat (heartbeat - drum…) or streched a little more every being alive. Some kind of the common unconscious.

I decided to spend a few hours in photoshop, because why the hell not?

Hi all - moved these here to a more general thread about your brilliant work inspired by The Guilds. Keep it up. A new topic will be coming soon too. :slight_smile:

And got one ready. This already had such a cool design in the Book-Graphics that it was not so easy to think of fitting stuff without taking all the same symbols… But there is a little relative of our lovely Hippocampus or the Ichthywara…not sure yet ;)
