I am also here! However, on the off chance that it is still Augie, sending a message with no information could be weird? Can we come up with something that would make sense either way? Maybe say that we had some problems with our connection?

Yeah, I think we can safely assume that whomever we’re sending this to, Augie or not, is an ally. Does this mean that Sullivan and the Council think that at this point we shouldn’t need to send direct messages anymore, or is this some non-ideal consequence of the portal magic?
And the italicized line definitely suggests sending stories to me, not necessarily information…there’s power in stories shared, and all that?

Call me crazy, but why don’t we send the first section of the “Ant and the Caterpillow” story? Someone familiar with Sullivan or Fletcher may recognize it, and therefore recognize us as allies of those two.
