Hello all,
You may call me @Zephyr. The Guide to Magiq sought me out and directed me here, and I am thoroughly elated to be pulled into the fold. The mysteries and secrets shrouded in this magiqal community of many walks is captivating to me. The assessment has placed me in @Flinterforge, which seems apt. I look forward to every glimpse I am allowed into this hidden world and every one of you I meet along the way. I am currently reading through TMP: Flora & Fauna and every topic here that catches my eye, hoping to catch up any time soon. Any pointers would be helpful. Here’s a little snippet about me.
I am a Plumbing Apprentice by day, whilst being a writer, gamer, and avid role-player by night. I LARP whenever it is possible, though, not so much in the past year or so, due to the lack of productions near me. I used to be a part of staff for a production my cousin was running. In doing so, I wrote a decent amount of lore and encounters for players to interact with NPCs and monsters alike. I also was responsible for building props, scenery, and various costuming items. Zephyr was the name of one of my LARP player characters and it just kind of stuck with me. I like to dabble in poetic and musical endeavors, but when it comes down to it, deep within my being I know I am always drawn to building things. I get more satisfaction turning raw materials into a construct of necessity or leisure. My true talent and higher calling is that of crafting and artificing, so Flinterforge seems to be the perfect fit.
I am riddled with intrigue and antici…pation, to say the least. I can’t wait to see what is in store for me in the world of Magiq.
TL;DR - I’m new to this community. My name is Zephyr(obviously) and I’m grateful to be a part of this new, compelling world. I’ve been assigned to Flinterforge, which is great because I like building things. Yay Magiq!

Hi! My name is Etarya, though many people just call me Fae. My name came from a noble dwarf I made on Dragon Age: Origins, and it’s my go to RP name. I’m an avid fantasy fan- books, movies, television, anything I can get into! I saw a bit about this on Instagram, and I was instantly hooked.
I’ve been sorted into Ebenguard, and am working on reading the first book. The premise alone was enough to catch my attention. I’m looking forward to getting to know not only the story, but others who enjoy it as well.

Once you’ve done that you can start getting involved in our many discussion topics such as writing, hobbies, video games, LARP, and D&D!

Hello, not sure if I’m doing this right. Do I reply to someone or just scroll to the bottom like i did and reply there? I had the bot tutorial, but I’m not familiar with forums.
Also i can’t get the monarch papers: volume 1 to download to my device, so I’m stuck there.
Um, i guess I’m doing this at the right time? I read the rules and primer.
Anyway, i was sorted into Ebenguard.
I have no idea what is going on here or how to do this.
I saw the article on facebook.
I do adventure. i love animals. i have real life abilities and real life powers and i do real life magic and miracles. i like exploration. intellectual converstations. I’m unconventional. i like being different and unique. I am loving and supportive. I tell it like it is, i believe honesty is the best policy, and that telling someone only what they want to hear is wrong, I’d rather be truthful. Even if it’s hard to hear, it’s better than lying. I am also a “be you, don’t be something you are not, don’t conform, it’s okay not to be everything, its okay not to meet expectations, it’s okay to express yourself” type of person. I also do not like lies and those who take advantage of others.
My stances have earned me a lot of people who like this, but also a lot of enemies. I believe obstacles are just something to overcome. I believe objective, subjective, perspective, and the rest all matter.
I’m not sure what else to say right now.

Oh i also am very open minded. I employ a very universal approach to things. I believe it is all the same thing, just different sides of the picture. I gave up my bias and such when i was many years ago. As such, i cannot form opinions, nor can i take sides. I lost that capability when i gave those up. I can use facts, but not opinions. I also cannot choose preference over what is (aka self desires, wants, views, etc over truth.) So, if that comes about i wont be able to do it or participate. I enjoy other’s views and listening to their lifes and stories. I love helping people.

I also like reading, video games, writing, inventing, dnd and related, some roleplay, games in general, movies, anime, some tv shows, music, spending time with people, world changing, seeing new things and trying new things, science, and other topics.

I tend to be controversal, an anomaly, and ambiguous/an ambiguity, all just as a person. I’m not easily understood. I also have tough skin and a soft heart.

Also, the description for Ebenguard is exact and precise. That’s me.
It seems a little more exact than these things usually would be.
My abilities detect a more than natural aspect to this. Which is perfectly fine with me.
Though there is no such thing as normal.
Is there a limit on posting? I haven’t noticed any activity since i posted, other than the like on my post. Am i posting more than allowed?

You’re doing just fine! There’s no limit on posting (that I know of, don’t quote me on that), but in this particular channel there are a few @Wagoneers who are the people with the links and resources to welcome new members! Unfortunate timing means you got here while they were all busy or asleep, but one of them will be here as soon as they’re able to welcome you!
In the meantime I can at least let you know that your guild leaders are @Ashburn and @Ginger, so if you still feel lost don’t worry, you can message them or the @Wagoneers! I’m sure one will be over soon and I hope you have a fantastic day

If you don’t mind trying to keep it to 1-2 posts at a time, and please be patient. Void and I do this on our own time and we are the only two Wagoneers so we can’t possibly attend to every single new person immediatly or sometimes (like this case) within the first few hours. Though keep in mind that is all my personal opinion!

Understood. No rush. I wasn’t in much of a hurry. I was more worried something might be wrong with the website, or that my phone wasn’t displaying the message or updating, or that there was some functional period I had missed before i could comment, or something like that. It wouldn’t be the first time. Nor is it uncommon in things like these.
