So… we’re adopting a rescue dog on Tuesday.
His name is Whiskey.

Have you brought Whiskey home yet? Is there much rejoicing?
He’s not home quite yet.
He’s a love bug but he’s a pretty timid guy at times, especially outside, and ESPECIALLY without his sister, so after a day with us at home we decided it might be best to start slower. We’re working on first transitioning him to a foster-trainer where we can wean him from the shelter and get him more confident on his own and ready to come home. We’re DYING to get him, but know this is probably best for him, especially after everything he’s been through (He and his sister survived their shelter in the Bahamas being destroyed by Hurricane Dorian last year.)
So all good news, but I want my pupper home already.
