For me, when looking at Vegvisir and what it means, I pulled into the direction of thought that leads me to believe it’s protection for that site.
Like how we did a spell to protect the forums, along those lines. Which would explain why it’s not a perfect replica and would fit your thought about the elements, because that would have helped focus the Magiq.
So maybe it’s not something specific for us or maybe it is, or maybe it serves more than one person. Who ever knows anymore?
