Furomaris is a type of animal in the Briarverse.
Description
The name Furomaris is thought to be derived from the scientific names for ferrets and fish, respectively. Mustela putorius furo is the scientific name for ferret, and Maris comes from the Latin word for “sea.”
Usage
Furomaris was the name of Fragment Seven. After Cole Sumner escaped from the Morgan Library, with the materials found inside of Seven Cradle Songs, a letter posted by Cole contained the word ‘Furomaris.’ The animal pieces contained on the fragment page were used to assemble The Translation, which was necessary to solve the second Magimystical Assessment.
