Walk in the Sand with Ebenguard

Yay! Glad you can finally come say hi @Lunalie!

Potato soup is my go to. Or really anything that involves a whole lotta melted cheese.

Yep. Anything with cheese will win me over. But on the other hand, a good hearty vegetable soup really hits the spot sometimes.

I feel this. People always look at me funny when they realize one of my favorite things to do is to walk for miles on end, but it’s a great escape from an otherwise stationary desk job. One of my favorite vacations was visiting most of the big five national parks in Utah (We went to Arches, Canyonlands, Zion, and Capital Reef). If you haven’t been already I really suggest making plans!

Hmmm, I’m an INFP too, considering it’s not a common archetype it’s interesting there are so many Ebbies that’s identify with it :face_with_monocle:

I just realised I never said but my I’m an aquarius and also an INFP! I love soup so much it’s difficult to decide what’s my fave but I would probably have to say something like butternut squash or sweet potato!

We’re all lonely peoples who love people but have trouble leaving the house.

I know it’s not a soup, but mess me up with a good beef stew. It’s like what I live on in winter which is like three quarters of the year up here

@metatomato I absolutely love walking. I can go for a walk in any weather, it’s so relaxing. Maybe it’s the introvert in me needing space. I love to just think while waking. Either thinking about stuff going on in my life, thinking about characters I want to create, listening to new music, or just wanting to not be sitting and be outside. Where I grew up, I could walk anywhere, then when we moved to a city between transit and my two feet I could get around anywhere. Where I go to school it’s really impractical to casually walk places, so people always give me the weirdest looks when I tell them I want to walk somewhere like home from the uni, and it’s quite odd.

Not that anyone asked, but there you go.

INFP is supposedly the rarest of the types, and we’ve all gathered here, haha.
@metatomato I’d love to! I’ve never actually been to Utah, the closest would be California. I lived in both northern and southern Cali for a few years.

That is a mood :joy: I love nature but at the same time I don’t leave the house! I’m just an anxious bean that hides in their room and dances around :joy:. Whenever I feel stressed though I imagine myself lay in a field but I never actually go find one… I just stay inside and watch YouTube

When I went to Japan, all I did was walk and take the subway. I think that’s what drew me in, you don’t need to worry about a car, and you can use your own feet to get yourself around. On top of that it’s actually normal! I’ve never lived in a city like Tokyo, but I love the walking thing.
No drive thru, no massive parking lot at Disney, it was so freeing.

What do you mean?! as I type from the safety of home not having gone too far in weeks :flushed:

Maybe you could bring the nature to you? I can’t remember if you were one of the avid gardening people on the forum.

I do kinda like walking though but a girl was murdered near where I’m living atm so it’s made it a bit more intimidating to go out for walks

When I move home I deffo will but at our uni house our garden is awful so we can’t do anything with it :joy:

@Emerald_daydreamxo that’s terrible! If you can, I’d suggest taking any sort of self defense class or martial art. Learning jiu jitsu skyrocketed my confidence for being a lone woman.

My introversion is like I can go do things with people, but need to retreat to recharge after a bit, then mentally prepare for it.

It’s more when I’m around people I don’t know that it comes out.

People who only know me from activities always swear I’m extroverted  then I always have to be like no, those two hours are enough for the day, then I’m useless.

This is it. That’s the feeling.

Yeah I’m definitely going to look into it! My grandma bought me a rape alarm for Christmas so I feel a bit safer. Like I’m really interested in true crime and stuff like that but when it happens near you it’s really scary!
