My point was that we could be speaking to an alternate reality already.
I hope not. But who knows.
Ok, new plan everyone! We are going to get the Mountiees in the past to open their Book of Briar. So we need to give them the key discreetly, just not soon.
Okay! How can I help?? Let’s crack that bad boy open!
We will get the reply at 4am and go from there. We need to be careful with how we go from here, they are close to meeting the Storm.
Just because that was Sullivan’s plan doesn’t force us to follow it. Like Augie we will make our own decisions. Let’s see how they respond and decide together what to do from there.
If they open the book though…doesn’t that mean us meeting and working together would never have happened because if the book was opened in the past the reason and need for our coming together would not be needed?
So if we/they unlock the book … does that get rid of the Storm? Or is that still a thing we have to work on stopping? While we work to unlock the book 23 years ago …
Also! So we’re going/need to send Deeds to Neithernor? If we unlock the book, does that unlock the way back to the Neithernor? So this can simmer on the back burner for now …?
That’s exactly what I said
Sorry…my phone isnt updating things properly on this forum this whole messing with time thing is so tricky!
Stick to step 3. That poll is like step 80.
Done. My only question is: do we have to erase Basecamp 33 or is there another way that’s possible?
I didn’t mean it in a mean way, I meant that I said we would be probably erased
Remember that this is only Splinter 13!!! We still have a ways to go.
Splinter 13!!!
Haha I know you didn’t this is turning into quite the puzzle lol it’s a bit maddening! But we will figure it out!!
Well, this puts my lesson in temporal mechanics in a whole new light.
The whole premise of alternate timelines/realities is Newtons third law, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. This applies equally to all our decisions, little or big, each creates a quantum event, splitting time for each option. Now, for our little choices, the ripples in the ‘water’ disperse quickly and those separate existences meld back together without a fuss. De ja vu and the Mandela effect are symptoms of this melding of quantum states happening, the former more often for little things, the latter more for large things. Now theoretically it should be possible to use magiq to essentially preform surgery on these quantum states and meld our timeline into the one we create by opening the Book in the past while keeping Basecamp and all our connections alive, thereby creating a new quantum state, born of the two old ones.
So we know who the storms master is! The silver, but that leaves us with another question. Who leads them? I also noticed that we didn’t get a reply from the past but did get a new message from Deirdre.
It’s here!
