Palmistry General Topic

Palmistry (a.k.a. Hand Analysis) is the science of determining a persons mental, emotional, & spritual attributes and general disposition by studying and analyzing the lines, shape, texture and flexibility of ones hands.
For example, this forum is full of writers or people who can easily express themselves in writing.
In the world of hand analysis (a.k.a. palmistry) people who are “good writers” are generally found to have the writer’s fork.
This is mine. I only have on my right hand now although I used to have it on both hands.

I think I have one? I know very little about palmistry, but it does seem overshadowed by the fact the upper fork is like "I’m just gonna keep on going down the side of the hand"

Wow! A lot of activity there! Did you check your left hand as well?

Is this it? I have this on my right hand but not my left. :brandonthinking:

Yes that’s a good example😎

Just for background knowledge, the line in the middle of your palm that the fork extends from is called the head line and as such is linked to your mind and thinking (basically).

Here’s mine!

It’s fairly different on my left

Yes the left and right will always be slightly different or maybe a lot more different, as it is in my case, because the left and right hands each reflect a different side of you in a sense.
From what I remember its something like, one hand shows the qualities you were born with while the other is your current state. Or one is your inner self and one the outer. At least with physical analysis. There are some who can read more in the hands than what can be physically seen.

I think this thread would be really good as just a general palm reading thread!

I’m thinking that’s what it may evolve into!

Also I think it’s really interesting how your left hand’s palm is very different for your right hand’s palm!

Me in particular? If so, I wouldn’t say very different, but different enough to notice.

I think this makes more sense than the former. If one showed your traits when you were born while the other showed your current state, it would imply that your palm lines were the same on both hands when you were born.

@metatomato Very good point as they do tend to change slightly during one’s life.

I think the one palm shows your potential and the one shows what you’ve done with that potential, but which side is which depends on your gender.

It may also depend on if you’re left or right handed. It’s been years since I’ve studied Hand Analysis/Palmistry so I honestly don’t remember!
