I’m imagining the area around/dorms of Thornmouth be spooky and foggy with winding paths lit by lanterns? maybe even enchanted to be always dark no matter if its day.

Adding onto that idea, the sun does reach them sometimes for about an hour a day, but other than that the fog hides it. The Thornmouth side of campus is often a place where people nap in the middle of the day, since light is scarce. The only bright light is kept on top of the Thornmouth dorm, like a lighthouse. The library is very close to the dorms, and is connected to them by a sturdy bridge draped with thorns and ivy.

But imagine most of the Thornmouths working in the library and being very violent when someone harms the precious books
