19. The Secret Society: The Dreamer

The father of gazelles hides a phantasmic collection in a minuscule place.

So Father of Gazelles is Abu Dhabi. Abu dhabi is twinned to Brisbane.

Brisbane has a tiny shed with a collection that’s constantly changing. A little bookstore. Is this anywhere near you, @Skylad?

Where Dark Stars lie… a museum to serial killers? Too macabre maybe?

WAR OF KNIVES IS ME

Jacmel is also sistered with my city, and if it’s not some point on the solar walk I will scream.

Edit to add: I won’t be home until late today, but will try tomorrow before work.
I missed my bus, so I’ll have to try another day. :laurencry:

Great Falls, Montana is named after the five waterfalls along the upper Missouri River basin.

Great Falls has one sister city. Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada.

I believe this is where @Ginger is on the map.

I can’t fully grasp the ‘whip-crack for whiskey’ part. But Lethbridge is home to the Black Velvet Whiskey Distillery.

Maybe the whip crack is do do with the linked location?

Both Ginger and I frequent Lethbridge. Somewhere more specific than the city in general would be nice though.

Bah, you don’t want to wander the entire city?! Fine, we’ll keep looking to narrow it down.

I was typing up a response, but I think you’ve got it, @Sellalellen! Great job, both to you and to @Nimueh for finding the link between the two!

Had to back into this one.

This looked like ‘where Black Stars lie’ to me.

It’s in Arlington Virginia. Arlington is a sister city of Coyoacán, Mexico, which is a municipality of Mexico City where the fountain with the drinking coyotoes is. The name of the town literally translates to ‘place of coyotes’.

I seem to recall someone here being near Alington, Virginia?

Edit: I believe that means the only place we don’t have a solid lead on is.

The proclamation tree casts shadows on the heads of the beautiful island.

And we’re feeling like it’s in Austin, Texas…somewhere.

From my quick search of “proclamation tree”; it is in Fremantle, which is a port city in the metropolitan area of Perth. Sister cities include San Diego, CA; Grenoble, France; Houston, Texas; Kagoshima, Japan; Nanjing, China; Rhodes, Greece; Seocho City, South Korea; Taipei, Taiwan; Vasto, Italy
