I have this wonderful memory of traveling to Scotland as a kid. A waitress in a restaurant—a motherly type woman—complimented my red hair and leaned over with half a wink.
“Ya noo, when ya see a Scot with color on ‘im—it’s nowt a tan. It’s roost!”
And thus I have defended never rusting, err, tanning. Fish-belly skin 4eva!

If you were at the Hangout last month you know I lost two pieces of correspondence between Lauren and The Cagliostro way back in 2017. It was just a little character moment, but there was no record of it anywhere, I didn’t have it in my TMP archive, and because of that it never ended up in the finished book.
Well, I was looking for something else this morning and found a random backup of their webmail server in a random folder.
It took some doing but I got it back up and running, and guess what I found?
I am not ashamed to say I choked up a little when this screen loaded:
